The new CEO of Boeing, Kelly Ortberg, has expressed his commitment to resetting relations with the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) in order to secure a new labor contract. Additionally, the union is pushing for a significant pay raise of at least 40 percent over three years, as well as improved benefits including better health insurance and pensions.
